Every story has a beginning,
this is ours, and it can become yours.
Growing up, I used to draw a lot. I drew anything my imagination could come up with - sometime’s big detailed scenes and sometimes portraits of my loved ones. My parents kept everything. Drawings were in every box (and sometimes on the box), framed and made into albums. Looking back, they weren’t just pictures to them, they were memories, showing little pieces of our life.
One of those drawings was especially important to my mom - it was a drawing of her. She carried it in her wallet for years. But over time, it faded. The colors wore off, the lines disappeared, and eventually, it was almost just a blank piece of paper. You couldn’t even tell what it used to be. It made me wish there had been a better way to keep that memory safe.
That’s where this idea came from.
Small everyday things that we might take for granted - a child’s drawing, a baby’s footprint or a smile of our four-legged friend, might seem simple, but they hold the biggest value. Today, our phones are full of pictures and videos, but these memories deserve more than a screen or a shoebox.
We wanted to find a way to turn those moments into something lasting. Something you can carry with you every day.
